Movement can be a tricky Principle of Design to describe. Look at the following examples. See how the different elements of art direct your eye to a particular place in each piece? It's not actual movement, like an animation, but rather the impression of movement and flow between colors, shapes, elements, etc.
Choose one of the pieces, name it, and describe (with as much detail as possible) what the movement looks like in that piece.

I choose movement 2, I think it shows that the blocks are being sucked into something, like a vortex.. I think the artist did a great job showing the movement

Movement one, and it looks like an array of patterned shapes (Triangle, squares circles) are bursting into an unaligned pattern into the sky. Similar to a balanced volcano irrupting into a chaotic lava flow.

Movement 2: I really liked this image because its movement seems to flow very smoothly. The way they added size to this piece really emphasized its movement and gave it a one point perspective.

MOVEMENT #2: As The Wind Blows: All the triangles are different sizes and kinda look like leaves in the wind. The shape they used as guide lines for the triangles makes it look like a gust of wind. In the picture they use smaller triangles the farther back they go and it makes it look like the gust of wind is coming from a far away place.
